Job Summary
Project Controller responsibilities include planning and scheduling projects, developing detailed schedules, establishing WBS, milestones, and deliverables aligned with TOR, monitoring schedule performance, and coordinating updates with technical teams. The role involves progress measurement and reporting with dashboards and KPIs, providing insights on delays, cost overruns, and performance trends, managing variations and change orders with associated cost/schedule impacts, contract/TOR interpretation and compliance, risk identification and mitigation planning, claims support, and collaboration with Project Managers, Engineers, Contract Teams, and Finance. Requires hands-on experience with Primavera P6/MS Project, earned value management, advanced Excel, and strong stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years in project controls within engineering, construction, or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of: Project scheduling and planning
- Cost control and forecasting
- Variation/change order management
- Contract interpretation and Terms of Reference (TOR)
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Technical proficiency in: Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Advanced Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of contract law and project delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
