Job Summary
Drive project controlling throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring orderbook, actuals, and forecasts are accurate and up to date. Prepare, maintain, and challenge project budgets, forecasts, and Estimate to Complete (ETC). Monitor project financial performance by analyzing costs, revenue, and profitability. Support month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned projects. Partner closely with Project Managers as the trusted financial advisor, providing financial insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting informed decision-making. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controlling, reporting quality, and the standardization and automation of processes, tools, and ways of working. This role involves working within an international team supporting projects across multiple locations in the defense and aerospace industry.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level
- Master's degree in HD(R), Finance, Finance Consulting, Management Accounting or a similar field of study
- Experience with project controlling
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Experience with standardization and automation of processes and procedures
- Experience with reporting
- Experience with project reporting
