Provide insights and recommendations to influence project execution and maximize value; act as guardian of project financial health by ensuring rigor in cost management, scheduling, and risk processes; partner with project managers and budget holders to keep large-scale infrastructure programs on track and within budget; maintain budgets aligned with sales and project progress; validate cost estimates (labor, materials, supplier invoices); develop mitigation and recovery plans; communicate financial status, risks, and forecasts to stakeholders; collaborate with finance and planning teams for data reconciliation and cost/schedule alignment; identify root causes of cost movements and support claims analysis; emphasis on cost control expertise in a technical environment with hybrid work from Stafford.
