Job Summary
Prepare complex Excel reports and compile, review, and analyze large data sets via the progress monitoring tool. Facilitate tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines while assisting with project schedule creation and updates. Administer and provide technical support for in-house database applications and support the subcontract management process by reviewing invoices, progress claims, and documents. Influence the format of tables and charts, continuously improve administrative processes, and set up the project control budget. Monitor and report on schedule and productivity versus budget, perform required budget updates, and implement Ledcor systems including progress draws and the cost accounting system at project start-up. This site-based role requires 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial project controls and strong scheduling skills with Primavera P6.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of progressive experience in project controls within industrial or large-scale construction environments
- Proven experience leading cost and schedule controls on engineering and construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of project cost systems, productivity tracking, earned value, and performance measurement
- Strong scheduling experience with Primavera P6
- Experience with InEight – InEight Control, InEight Plan, InEight Change
- Strong understanding of project controls terminology, workflows, and interfaces with construction and engineering teams
- Experience in contract management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams in a site-based environment
- Site based position
