Job Summary
Project Control Analyst to join a DoD program finance team in Herndon, VA. Act as the program management business partner to achieve cost, schedule, and financial targets; oversee budgeting, forecasting (EAC), and variance analysis; assist program managers with risk identification and mitigation; provide program planning support including scheduling, status reporting, data validation, and resource planning; establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines and change control; develop WBS and related dictionaries; supply timely information for decision-making; collaborate with CAMs and senior technical staff to ensure proper Earned Value Management (EVM) is applied; track subcontractor status and material receipts; assist in proposal development; monitor budget availability and proper approvals; produce standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards; travel as needed; requires a Bachelor's degree plus six+ years of experience and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, six or more years of related experience
- Top Secret DoD Security Clearance required; SCI Eligibility preferred
- MS Office Suite and other applications including SAP, COBRA, Winsight, Project Server and SharePoint
- Experience with Cost Plus Development, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Full Rate Production type Programs preferred
- Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques as a part of financial management required
- Proficient in Excel: V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc.
- Experience with Grouping Pegging and Distribution (GPD) preferred
- Strong background in finance or accounting preferred
- Experience working on programs with heavy material procurements – cradle to grave preferred
- Ability to work closely with multifunctional and cross-business teams including partnering with the Program Office to meet program requirements
- Knowledge of DoD (DCAA/DCMA) compliance helpful
- General knowledge of accounting principles, planning and tracking procedures and manufacturing systems in a research or production environment
- Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain active DoD Top Secret clearance
