Job Summary

Project Control Analyst to monitor, analyze, and report project financial performance on government contracts. Responsible for cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and contract financial analysis in accordance with FAR and contract terms. Must leverage Deltek Costpoint to generate budgets, baselines, EAC/ETC forecasts, and monthly reports for project teams and executives. Key duties include cost tracking of labor, subcontractors, travel, materials and ODCs; managing contract funding and burn rates; analyzing profitability and margins; reviewing subcontractor invoices and supporting invoicing; supporting internal/external audits (e.g., DCAA); and driving improvements to financial controls, reporting templates, and forecasting methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of dedicated experience in project controls, project finance, cost analysis, or government contracting financial management roles
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience utilizing Deltek Costpoint
  • Strong working knowledge of government contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP, IDIQ)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dynamic modeling)
  • Experience tracking contract modifications and backlog management
  • Ability to translate financial data for non-technical stakeholders
