Job Summary
Lead strategic planning, system implementation, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. Conduct consulting engagements including system assessments, process re-engineering, and operational improvements. Provide direction to clients, staff, and vendors to resolve project-related issues and challenges. Develop standards, methodologies, and best practices for departmental use while participating in grant acquisition and research and development initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in healthcare practice and information systems. This role supports the Carilion Clinic mission to transform healthcare through innovation and collaboration within a robust system of hospitals and trauma centers in southwestern Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Knowledge of business practices
