Job Summary
The Project/Construction Management Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting various functions in a dynamic construction company involved in marine, piling, and civil projects. Responsibilities include assisting the project team with project processes, supporting planning and estimating phases, preparing formwork layout drawings, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, managing document control, and monitoring safety, cost, and scheduling of projects. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or have equivalent construction experience, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in construction and estimating, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling materials and equipment and supervising jobsite productivity and personnel.
- Scheduling software experience.
