Job Summary
Gain hands-on experience in a construction internship focusing on marine, piling, and civil projects. Responsibilities include assisting project teams, supporting planning and estimating stages, preparing formwork layout drawings, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, managing document control, and monitoring safety and cost efficiency. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or possess equivalent construction experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Safety knowledge and scheduling experience are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in construction and estimating or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Scheduling software experience
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling materials and equipment
- Supervising jobsite productivity and personnel
