Job Summary
The Project Communications Specialist leads public involvement, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications for community planning and infrastructure projects, translating complex technical information into clear content. Responsible for coordinating outreach activities such as public meetings, stakeholder communications, and digital storytelling, while collaborating with technical teams and mentoring others. Manages production of fact sheets, presentations, posters, StoryMaps, and other visual/storytelling materials; supports client interactions, and helps develop budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-6 years experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, planning, or journalism preferred
