Job Summary
Project Cargo Operations Specialist role supporting end-to-end operational processes for project cargo, including OOG, heavy lift, breakbulk, and special cargo shipments across ocean, road, air, intermodal, and multimodal solutions. Responsibilities include shipment coordination, documentation (B/L, AWB, CMR, packing lists, customs-related docs), tracking milestones, billing support, cost reporting, risk identification, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations is required, along with the ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
- Hands-on exposure to project cargo, OOG, heavy lift, breakbulk, or special cargo shipments
- Knowledge of multimodal transportation processes and operational documentation
- Familiarity with IMDG / dangerous goods documentation is considered an advantage
- Experience using TMS/ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipment files and operational priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic operational environments
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required
