Job Summary
Project Captain in an architecture firm overseeing coordination and creation of design deliverables and construction documentation. Leads project production teams, mentors BIM staff, prepares sketches and revisions, develops bid and construction documents, ensures code compliance and permitting, and manages deadlines while traveling to meetings and job sites. Hybrid office/remote in Scottsdale, AZ with 9-hour workdays and client-facing responsibilities. Requires proficiency in Revit, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an architecture firm or a similar environment
- Proficiency in Revit
- A college degree is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and construction documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Experience in mentoring and leading production teams
- Willingness to travel for project-related meetings and site visits
