Job Summary
Lead project purchasing activities for Valeo’s Martos plant: manage sourcing from project kickoff to SOP, oversee RFQ processes (PuMa/Auctions), select suppliers, coordinate design reviews (S-VRF), identify and mitigate supplier risks, pilot purchasing indices, and ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery targets. Maintain PuMa and SAP accuracy, document contracts and supplier records, and collaborate with Project Managers, Segment Leaders, and Productivity Buyers to align localization and global platform needs. Drive pre-sourcing for advanced projects with IP safeguards while ensuring compliance and a smooth transition to serial production. Required skills include a Master’s-level education (Industrial Degree/Master), 3+ years in purchasing, automotive industry knowledge, on-site mobility, strong English proficiency, and excellent negotiation and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
