Job Summary
Coordinate purchasing activities within interdisciplinary development teams from project kick-off through series production readiness, including developing bidder lists, sourcing plans, and analytical evaluations for the Sourcing Committee. Initiate measures to reduce material costs, conduct global sourcing, and support supplier relocations while identifying and approving new suppliers. Prepare and present cost-reduction strategies to international teams. Requires a degree in engineering or business administration, two years of purchasing experience, and fluent German and English. Full-time role based in Esenyurt, Istanbul.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable field of study
- At least two years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally within an industrial environment
- Results-oriented and structured way of working
- Strong negotiation skills
- Assertiveness
- A high degree of personal responsibility and initiative
- Professional competence combined with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Confident use of PCs and MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP R/3 is an advantage
