Job Summary
Analyze business needs, opportunities, and process redesigns while gathering technical requirements and conducting workflow reviews. Apply rigorous project management techniques to prepare plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports, coordinating system design, application testing, and build activities. Support stakeholder communication, change management, and training; facilitate meetings and distribute minutes. Lead simple to moderately complex tasks and small projects, maintaining required documentation and supporting data analysis for reporting and assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management, Business Process/Analysis, and Data Analysis experience or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of project management standards (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization)
- Experience leading project workstreams or small projects independently
- Experience developing/coordinating the development of business requirements
- Experience in conducting workflow mapping and analysis
- Experience in data analysis to support reporting and assessments
- Experience in supporting delivery of management-level presentations, training and/or end user support
- Experience coordinating or performing application testing
- Proficient use of office productivity, project management, & scrum software (e.g. M365 tools, MS Planner/Project, MS Visio, Kanban, ServiceNow)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in applying change management methodologies and tools
- Experience with hardware and/or software vendor relations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management certification
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, data centre, network infrastructure, and/or enterprise architecture
- Experience with Epic system, including use, build and/or vendor certified
