Job Summary
Administer daily financial management for assigned project budgets, including review of contract assumptions and analysis of budget-to-actual data. Collaborate with project leads to update resource forecasts, resolve pending issues, and oversee financial aspects of functional areas. Prepare estimates for contract modifications and assist in identifying risks, defining unsupported hours, and attending risk meetings. Requires 2+ years of complex project management experience with strong budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills. Standard Mon-Fri schedule with occasional domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or related field or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
- Solid analytical skills and capable of handling data effectively
- Problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.) for analysis and data presentation
- Good understanding of project management principles and application
- Know how to multitask
- Able to work independently
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Excellent teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years complex project management experience (including allocation of resources against budget, forecasting, and completion/coordination of related quantitative and analytical task) is preferred
