Project Assurance Engineer

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day site supervision and technical input for D&B infrastructure projects, ensuring work complies with scope, contract, quality, HSSE, and programme requirements. Review and comment on contractor documents including QMPs, ITPs, and method statements, then agree and witness inspections and testing while monitoring off-site fabrication and as-built information. Support claims, compensation events, and basic contract administration, inspect completed work to manage defects and oversee remedial action, and maintain site records, diary entries, and progress photographs. Assist with subcontractor checks and project close-out activities while supporting reporting, site meetings, and stakeholder engagement. This predominantly site-based role is based in and around Dublin for the Project & Programme Management team.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar
- NEC ECC Supervision Accreditation
- Chartered member of a relevant professional body e.g. Engineers Ireland, RICS or equivalent
- Over 5–10 years' experience delivering complex D&B infrastructure projects
- Experience in leading small teams
- Practical site supervision skills and understanding of construction methods
- Good report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to HSSE and quality
- Majority of projects delivered in and around Dublin
