Job Summary
Support UNDP Iran's Global Fund–backed HIV project by coordinating project planning and implementation, collecting and presenting background information for mobilizing inputs, providing day-to-day operational support to the designated Sub-Recipient, coordinating between Global Fund activities and the National Strategic Plan, updating the project work plan, and assisting with procurement, monitoring and evaluation, and knowledge management. Responsibilities include organizing and supporting regular/ad hoc meetings, preparing agendas/minutes, assisting in strategic documents and proposals, documenting lessons learned, and performing related duties under supervision of the Welfare Organization’s National Project Director and the UNDP Programme Specialist. Required experience includes coordinating, implementing, or monitoring development projects, proficiency with office software, and collaboration with UN agencies, NGOs, and public international organizations; fluency in Farsi and English; and familiarity with health interventions related to HIV programming and addiction control.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary education is required
- Bachelor’s degree will be given due consideration but not required
- Fluency in Farsi and English is required
