Job Summary
Project Assistant will support RTV’s project implementation and monitoring in Sironko, Uganda, coordinating and co-facilitating trainings (financial literacy, behavior and mindset change, water and health sanitation, village savings and loans, agriculture, livestock care and health outreach) to increase household income and reduce extreme poverty. Responsibilities include preparing procurement lists, verifying inputs, conducting follow-up with community groups, identifying risks with mitigation, reporting to supervisors, developing work plans, weekly field and donor reporting, attending staff and cluster meetings, and documenting field activities with photos. The role requires strong facilitation, communications, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to work independently and as part of a team, willingness to travel up to 80% and hike in high terrain, and fluency in local languages. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong training & facilitation skills
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Fluent in local languages where RTV works
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Understanding of Community Based Development Principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Energetic and physically able to hike high terrain
- Able to travel approximately 80% of time
