Job Summary
The Project Assistant provides project management support to the project team at Rosendin, including general administrative tasks. Responsibilities include recapping and tracking Potential Change Orders (PCOs), pricing material vouchers, writing and tracking RFIs, reviewing payroll for Rosendin and subcontractors, completing required forms (e.g., HRC forms, OCIP), updating project schedules in Microsoft Projects or SureTrack, handling monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet), creating/updating material flow sheets (fixtures, fire alarm devices), tracking subcontracts/change orders and submittal logs, and obtaining quotes from vendors with light material ordering. The ideal candidate reads blueprints, understands project management procedures and scheduling software, and demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Required proficiency includes Microsoft Projects, SureTrack, Oracle, and SharePoint (preferred), along with a solid computer/office skill set. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1-2 years of PM support experience in construction; travel is 0%. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years’ project management support experience, preferably in a construction environment
- Experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Proficient in using Microsoft Projects; Suretrack; Oracle and SharePoint experience preferred
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
- Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
- Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
