Job Summary
Assist staff across Development, Training, Adoption & Legal, Home finding, Executive offices, and Mental health departments with basic administrative tasks including filing, phone calls, mail handling, and organizing rooms. Interact with the community served by Child Welfare/FC, conduct research, write reports, assemble newsletters, and execute other creative projects as assigned. Participate in virtual and in-person meetings, maintain consistent contact with your mentor and internship coordinator, and meet weekly assignment deadlines. Some field work and travel to different office locations may be necessary. Requires fluency in English, access to communication equipment, and basic technical skills in Outlook and TEAMS.
Required Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English and can write English
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety
- Must have access to basic communication equipment (phone, laptop or tablet), the internet
- Be willing to learn and exercise basic technical skills (Outlook & TEAMS)
- Some presentation skills are necessary
- High School / G.E.D.
