Job Summary

Develop a thorough understanding of projects' design philosophy and provide major input in developing a design and building performance strategy. Deliver technical design input, responsible for detailed design development, project coordination, and quality control efforts during all phases of project work. Contribute to the preparation of schematic, design development, and construction documents, delivering complete, accurate, and coordinated project documentation. Actively collaborate with consultants to ensure deliverables are integrated and support design concept and performance goals. Review shop drawings, material samples, and CDs for conformance with design, and perform construction administration duties including RFI's, RFP's, and change orders. Maintain awareness of evolving building technology and systems while executing applicable agency review analysis for accessibility, zoning, and life-safety.

Required Qualifications

  • CA Architectural licensure
  • 5-7 years of experience on small- to large-scale project types
  • Knowledge of Revit, Rhino, CAD, 3DS Max, SketchUp, Bluebeam and other industry accepted software
  • expertise with project management software
  • Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Master's degree
  • LEED accreditation
