Job Summary

Lead architectural assignments on moderate to complex low-density residential projects, including single-family detached, townhouses, and condos. Oversee QA/QC reviews of project documents to ensure code compliance and alignment with design intent. Provide architectural direction from Schematic Design through Construction Administration while directing the production of design and construction documents. Analyze design and layout solutions to support project goals and maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and the project team. Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance. Requires a Licensed Architect in California with 5+ years of experience, Revit/BIM proficiency, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect in the State of California
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any U.S. employer without restriction

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep experience in technical and design development
  • Preference for low-density residential project types
  • Strong knowledge of building codes
  • High proficiency in Revit/BIM and SketchUp
