Job Summary
The Project Architect will lead the technical development of projects, ensuring successful execution of design and construction documentation. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and executing technical documentation, coordinating production of schematic and construction documents, performing construction administration tasks, and establishing budgets and schedules. Candidates should have a professional degree in Architecture, 10+ years of relevant experience, strong Revit skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Effective communication and familiarity with building codes and specifications are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of project experience including healthcare and/or science & technology
- Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff
- Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
- Familiarity with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
- Understanding of project management process
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative and professional work ethic
- Licensure required
Desired Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
- LEED AP within 1 year of hire
