Job Summary

Lead Visualization & BIM to produce high-quality 3D renders and walkthroughs for design reviews and client engagements; manage the formal review of architectural submittals, samples, and mockups; serve as primary technical interface between Kiswishi Management and plot owners; lead detailed technical review of plot owners’ drawings for design guideline compliance; monitor construction activities for adherence to approved designs; oversee the building permit process for accepted designs; safeguard architectural design integrity throughout pre-construction and construction; maintain an organized register of drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals; develop full architectural drawing sets from concept through detailed design and construction documentation; ensure compliance with local codes, client requirements, and international best practices; translate concepts into construction documentation; require proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and knowledge of international building codes and standards; centralized coordination for high-rise or mixed-use projects; long-form responsibilities include design integrity, quality standards, and ongoing collaboration with project leadership in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an internationally recognized university
  • Professional registration as an Architect is highly advantageous
  • 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in a technical office focusing on construction documentation, detailing, and technical review
  • Demonstrable experience in a technical office environment on major international high-rise or mixed-use projects
  • Expert knowledge of building envelope technology, waterproofing systems, material science, and high-quality interior finishing details
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong working knowledge of international building codes and standards related to performance, life safety, and accessibility
