Job Summary
The Project Architect is responsible for the development of project vision and detailed design for well-coordinated architectural documents. This role entails coordinating Project Teams, directing internal and external consultants, and ensuring adherence to client and firm guidelines. The Project Architect must possess leadership skills to mentor team members while managing complex K-12 projects. Candidates should be licensed architects with 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a proficiency in design software, particularly Autodesk Revit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited architectural program with Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree
- Registered/Licensed Architect with 5+ years industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects from vision/concept through contract administration phases of work
- Strong understanding of cultural and market trends, building systems and project specifications
- Must have experience with local school districts
Desired Qualifications
- Competency in all aspects of design and documentation
- Proficiency in multiple software platforms such as Autodesk’s AEC Suite, Construction Cloud, and technical proficiency in Revit
- Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals and consultants to meet Client and project objectives
- Strong portfolio of K-12 education projects
