Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise the Project Team while directing internal and external consultants to meet established project goals and deadlines. Lead a team to produce complete project document sets, including drawings and specifications, that align with design intent and client expectations. Establish trusting relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and oversee construction contract administration processes. Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure task accuracy and maintain knowledge of Cooper Carry projects and resources. Requires a licensed architect with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and AEC Suite, and experience with K-12 education projects. Salary range is $90k - $115k annually.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Architect
- 5+ years industry experience
- Competency in all aspects of design and documentation
- Strong understanding of cultural and market trends, building systems and project specifications
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects from vision/concept through contract administration phases of work
- Proficiency in multiple software platforms
- Familiarity with Autodesk's AEC Suite
- Technical proficiency in Revit
- Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals and consultants to meet Client and project objectives
- Experience with local school districts
- Must be able to lift 20lbs
- Ability to participate in site visits
- Travel to job sites or meetings is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's level degree
- Graduate of an accredited architectural program
- Proficiency in multiple software platforms as required to complete project requirements is preferred
- Strong portfolio of K-12 education projects preferred
