Project Architect

Job Summary
Lead development of architectural drawings and specifications across schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration phases. Ensure design intent is clearly documented while collaborating with engineers to maintain alignment between conceptual vision and final deliverables. Manage design deliverables, contribute to project scheduling, and coordinate with project managers, interior designers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery from concept through construction. Research codes and regulations to develop life safety plans and respond to regulatory comments for timely approvals. Provide mentorship to emerging professionals and interns. This role requires approximately 10-15% travel for site visits and client meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Licensed Architect (or on the path to licensure within 12 months)
- 5–10 years of architectural experience, preferably in healthcare or complex technical building types
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong knowledge of building systems, detailing, and construction methods
- Excellent communication, coordination, and time-management skills
- Ability to lead technical production efforts with minimal supervision
- 10-15% travel for project-related needs, including site visits, client meetings, and occasional industry events
