Job Summary
Lead healthcare project design, documentation, and coordination for medical planning, equipment integration, and specialized clinical facilities. Manage building systems, engineering consultant disciplines, and contractor/trade collaboration while ensuring compliance with OSHPD and building codes. Produce drawings and specifications for transformative projects in schools of medicine, research laboratories, and urban campuses within a collaborative 150-person studio. Requires 8+ years of healthcare experience, a degree in architecture, Revit proficiency, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Creative problem solving
- Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- Good understanding of specialized healthcare environments, including medical planning and equipment coordination
- Experience and knowledge in the following: Building codes and agency requirements including OSHPD
- Experience and knowledge in the following: Building systems and coordination engineering consultant disciplines
- Experience and knowledge in the following: Working with contractors/trades in collaborative delivery
- Experience and knowledge in the following: Design and Documentation (drawings and specifications) of healthcare projects
- Minimum of 8 years' experience within the planning, design, coordination and documentation of healthcare projects
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Architecture required
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM production required
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
- Professional license within the State of California preferred
- LEED certification preferred
