Project Architect - Federal Practice

Job Summary
Lead the planning and architectural design of federal and military projects, providing design leadership, technical oversight, and QA/QC from concept to completion. Serve as primary client liaison with federal agencies, translate client objectives into design implementations, ensure regulatory compliance across federal codes and agency guidelines, coordinate with PM/CM and internal disciplines, review and refine work for accuracy, and mentor architectural staff. Possess expertise in mission-specific infrastructure such as barracks, command centers, hangers, and hardened defense systems; participate in pursuit activities including proposal development and labor-hour estimating. Require eight+ years of experience, RA with NCARB, 5-year B.Arch or 6-year M.Arch from NAAB-accredited program, valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, Photoshop; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture (6-year program) from a NAAB-accredited institution
- Minimum of eight (8) years of job-related experience
- Registered Architect (RA) with NCARB certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience leading architectural design for federal and military projects; strong knowledge of federal, state, local codes and DoD/UFC requirements
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, Photoshop
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
