Job Summary
As a Project Architect, you will lead the technical advancement of projects and the production of construction documents, drawings, and specifications, focusing on public K-12 schools and public safety projects. Key responsibilities include participating in all project phases, overseeing production teams, ensuring code compliance, managing budgets, coordinating with consultants, and supervising the construction administration process. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, licensure in Massachusetts, over 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Revit, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Architectural Licensure in MA
- 5+ years’ experience in Architectural projects, with minimum 5 years’ experience managing production teams of multiple staff
- 5 years’ production experience in design and drafting using Revit software, possessing an in-depth working knowledge of the current version of the software is required
- Excellent communications skills and proactive interaction with others. Ability to deal with multiple personality types and mentor others on the production team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Revit in a production and coordination environment
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or related software
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Massachusetts Public Bidding Laws (MCPPO certification strongly preferred)
- LEED certification preferred, but not required
