Job Summary
Generate creative design solutions within functional project parameters and prepare all deliverables. Manage contract administration, coordinate with consultants, and lead project studios while mentoring staff. Develop technical solutions for stakeholders, assist with schedule creation, and resolve issues between design and technical objectives. Execute coordination of architectural and consultant documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and construction practices. Present design concepts and maintain client satisfaction across multiple challenging projects.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in commercial design
- Professional registration
- Revit proficiency and technical excellence
- Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
- Acumen for how things are built and constructability
- Understanding of building and accessibility codes
- Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible attitude
- Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading project teams
- Ability to translate design concepts and information into images
- Confident presentation ability
- This role is an in-office position
- This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role
