Job Summary
Project Architect to contribute to design-driven projects from concept through completion, leading design development, documentation, and construction document production. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating presentation and documentation materials; producing construction documents and detail sketches; implementing redline revisions; coordinating with project consultants; analyzing program, space planning and area calculations; working independently and with teams to meet project budgets and schedules; participating in regular project team, client and contractor meetings; and mentoring junior team members. Requires a professional accredited degree in Architecture, 5+ years of post-graduate experience, proficiency in Revit and BIM360, 3D modeling (Rhino), MS Project and Bluebeam Revu; licensure or ARE progress within two years; excellent English communication; and prior experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects. This is a full-time exempt role based in the Los Angeles office with no remote work and no relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accredited degree in Architecture
- 5+ years’ continuous professional post-graduate working experience
- Technical experience using Revit and BIM360
- Ability to use 3D modeling software, including Rhino
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Revu
- Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
- Experience in detailing and construction documentation
- Experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects; office experience is a plus
- Licensure or active progress toward licensure (ARE) with the expectation of completion within two years
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
