Job Summary
Project and Program Manager at Equinix responsible for delivering large-scale technology programs and leading AI-enabled transformation initiatives. Own the full lifecycle from initiation to delivery, scope, scheduling, and resource allocation, while driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and operations. Lead Agile, Scrum, and SDLC practices, manage risks and dependencies, and develop integrated program plans. Champion AI adoption by enabling AI-powered planning, status tracking, and documentation, collaborating with AI/ML and data teams to design AI-enabled solutions, and establishing governance for responsible AI use. Maintain executive-ready updates with data visualizations and AI-generated summaries, and partner with GTM/Sales to plan commercialization. Requires 7+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), and proficiency with AI tools and cloud AI services. Toronto, Canada-based, full-time role, with emphasis on governance, stakeholder management, and delivering complex programs in a distributed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred with strong analytical skills
- 7+ years of experience in technology program or project management
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
- Strong proficiency with project management tools and portfolio reporting systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Technical & AI Skills: AI tools in project management, generative AI, AI/ML concepts, cloud AI services
