Job Summary
Ensure accurate project setup in compliance with contractual requirements while meeting reporting needs for Project and Program Managers. Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications, and modify schedules in Microsoft Project to identify critical paths and task dependencies. Analyze gantt charts, create documentation, and track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges. Support contract deliverable reports, databases, and resumes for customer approval, compiling and verifying information according to priorities. Research incomplete documents and respond to queries regarding relevant files and database integrity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- experience supporting shipboard U.S. Navy government contracting operations
- Minimum of 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of government contracting and accounting
- Ability to work in Groups or Independently as required
