Job Summary
Act as the first point of contact for portfolio managers, capturing and routing their requests while maintaining visibility on open items. Drive end-to-end coordination of cross-functional projects across Operations, Trading, Risk, Technology, and other support functions, managing stakeholder maps and turnaround targets. Own the onboarding of new brokers and counterparties, maintaining inventory and serving as the coordination point for broker queries. Conduct data and workflow analysis to identify automation opportunities and prepare project documentation for governance forums. This hands-on role within the COO Office bridges portfolio managers and firm support functions, offering broad exposure to all six strategies including Credit, Equities, Macro, Systematic, Commodities, and Equity Arbitrage.
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience
- Strong organisational skills and genuine attention to detail
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative
- Strong with Excel and PowerPoint
- Eligible to work in Hong Kong or Singapore
Desired Qualifications
- Internships or a first role in financial services (buy-side, sell-side, Big 4, or a financial-services consultancy)
- Familiarity with financial instruments across asset classes (equities, credit, rates, FX, commodities, derivatives)
- Awareness of trade lifecycle, broker/counterparty onboarding, or hedge-fund operations
- Ability to code (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA)
- A strong academic record in any discipline
- Computer science, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, finance, and economics
