Job Summary

Support administrative and documentation efforts across planning, execution, and delivery of a large electrical infrastructure project. Responsibilities include maintaining project records (permits, drawings, contracts, RFIs, submittals), coordinating daily site admin (visitor logs, access control, safety sign-ins, site orientation), preparing correspondence and meeting materials, managing subcontractor and vendor invoices and change orders with proper coding, auditing timesheets for cost code compliance, compiling daily field reports for client updates, coordinating crew logistics (accommodations, mobilization/demobilization, per diem), assisting with closeout (as-built docs, warranty records, final inspection reports, turnover packages), and managing office trailers at laydown yards. Strong MS Office and document control system experience required; construction industry experience preferred. Project includes Wasoqonatl Transmission Line, Nova Scotia to New Brunswick, with collaboration with Mi’kmaq communities; Valard Construction is the employer.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education in a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a project administration or coordination role
  • Previous construction industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Adobe
  • Experience with document control systems and project filing
