Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities while reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy. Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders with minimal supervision, then coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain project progress. Track project costs, quantities, and production to support budgeting and forecasting, while maintaining organized documentation and conducting regular site visits to monitor quality and safety compliance. Identify and resolve field and design issues proactively, assist in procurement and delivery tracking, and ensure adherence to contract documents, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Requires 2–5 years of construction experience, proficiency in project management software, and OSHA 10 or 30 certification. Full-time Monday through Friday position with a wage of $22–25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of construction or project engineering experience
- Working knowledge of construction processes, plans, and specifications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with limited oversight
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in excavation, utilities, or heavy civil construction
- Familiarity with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Understanding of cost tracking and scheduling principles
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
