Job Summary
Project Administrator (6-month contract) provides administrative and project coordination support in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities include interpreting and applying company policies and project requirements, maintaining organized data tracking systems, overseeing document control (project files, records, site photos), accurately entering time and equipment data, processing packing slips and supplier invoices, preparing locate packages, assisting with billing and ongoing project tracking/reporting, and providing general administrative support. Requires strong written/verbal communication, discretion with sensitive information, organization, stakeholder communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role; experience within the construction industry is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with financial systems is considered an asset
- Experience working with SAP is an asset
