Project Accounting Team Lead (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Oversee a team of Project Accountants to deliver day-to-day project accounting operations with a night-shift focus. Responsibilities include revenue recognition, cost tracking, WIP, billing, and receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and US GAAP, supporting month-end close, and identifying financial risks. Lead and coach team members, manage workload, and ensure KPI/SLA targets are met while coordinating with Project Managers and Finance Partners. Drive process improvements, standardize global controls, and support audit/documentation activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, senior-level leadership experience, and strong knowledge of project accounting principles, ERP systems (Oracle/SAP), and financial governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification preferred or in progress (CPA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in project accounting, finance operations, or a related field
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team
- Background in Engineering, Design, and Construction (ED&C) or professional services is advantageous
- Exposure to shared services or global delivery models is a plus
