Job Summary
Create new projects in Netsuite, record change orders, and close out inactive projects while reviewing budgets and cost data with Project Managers. Prepare monthly ETC reporting, revenue accruals, and project-related documents for management. Maintain accurate supporting documentation, process fixed asset depreciation, and resolve accounting discrepancies by coordinating with project managers and vendors. Train staff on Netsuite reporting and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded within NetSuite.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software, financial record keeping, databases, and other business related areas that require stringent deadlines, accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with accounting personnel, project managers, engineers and other departments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet and manage deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel is a must (Google Docs included)
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal, must be able work remotely with Project Managers and other staff
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
