Job Summary
Project Accountant responsible for startup and billing activities across client-focused projects, including new project entry/additions, preparing bath billings and final invoices, ensuring accurate recording of billing transactions, resolving billing issues with the Project Accounting Manager, monitoring billing status against client/internal deadlines, maintaining vehicle and master logs, supporting payroll and timesheet corrections, and generating reports for the billing/accounting team. Requires strong Deltek experience (Vision or Vantagepoint a plus), meticulous attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and solid communication skills in a professional engineering/construction environment. Located in Fort Worth, TX; full-time position with annualized earnings based on a $28.00–$35.00 hourly rate (translated to annual figures) and a comprehensive benefits package; Wilson & Company is not sponsoring work visas at this time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ related experience and/or training
- At least 3 years in project administration, preferably in an engineering or construction related field
- Working experience in Deltek, experience with Vision or Vantagepoint a plus
- Attention to detail is a must; strong analytical skills favored
- Ability to apply and adapt quickly to new invoicing procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary with positive attitude
- Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
- Knowledge of general accounting practices
