Job Summary
Project Accountant role supports Project Managers with financial oversight across multiple projects from startup through closeout, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and contract administration. You’ll set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint (WBS, budgets, revenue recognition, and contract details), perform variance analysis to support profitability, issue client invoices, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely billing. Responsibilities include assisting with contract reviews and modifications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in a project-based financial role; Deltek Experience a plus, with strong Excel and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a financial analyst, project accountant, or similar role within a project-based environment
