Project Accountant

Support Project Managers with financial oversight across assigned projects from startup through closeout by preparing, monitoring, and maintaining project budgets and forecasts. Track project costs and revenue, analyze variances, and provide insight to support profitability and decision-making. Set up and maintain projects in Deltek, including work breakdown structures, billing terms, and revenue recognition setup. Ensure project financial data is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies and contract requirements. Prepare and issue client invoices while coordinating with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely billing. Assist with contract reviews, modifications, and internal or external audits. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required with 4+ years of experience in a project-based environment. Located in the Greater St. Louis, Chicago, and Louisville metro areas.
