Job Summary
Manage project financials by reviewing external bills from subcontractors and vendors, processing costs, and maintaining records for labor and expenses. Investigate billing issues and overages while forecasting effort and budgeting for multiple projects to ensure completion within budget. Prepare monthly Job Cost Analysis reports, draft final invoices, and follow up on client approvals and payments. Collaborate with Project Managers on change orders, contract modifications, and maximizing billing amounts. Maintain billing folders with supporting documentation including pay applications and vendor invoices. Set up new projects, transfer billable hours, and close jobs by reviewing open commitments. Recommend process improvements to the billing cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, financial or related field or equivalent work experience
- Three to five or more years of experience in managing an accounting function in a medium- or large-size company
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek Vantage Point (Preferred)
