Job Summary
Project Accountant responsible for setting up new projects and change orders in the ERP, updating estimates for active projects, closing projects in the ERP, performing WIP analysis after payroll cycles, validating monthly charges to active projects, entering time from weekly timesheets, and supporting month-end close and special projects. Requires experience with job costing or PoC accounting, ERP proficiency (MS Dynamics or Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate), and strong Excel skills. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance is preferred, with opportunities for professional development and competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance preferred
- Up to two years of job costing and/or percentage of completion accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software (MS Dynamics preferred or Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with formulas, advanced functions, and pivot tables
