Job Summary
The Project Accountant will handle the electronic routing of invoices to project management teams for approval, enter and post invoices into Viewpoint, and ensure subcontractors correct payment applications as needed. Responsibilities include verifying receipt of all necessary contract administrative documents, making copies of invoices for cost plus projects, updating and tracking monthly billings, and preparing monthly owner billings. The role also involves auditing cost plus jobs, following up on outstanding receivables, and processing payments to subcontractors while resolving invoice holds. Additionally, the Project Accountant will assist the project management team with inquiries and collect W-9 forms from new vendors.
