Job Summary
Partner with project managers, clients, and sub-consultants to prepare monthly invoices based on contract requirements. Review and interpret contract terms to establish budgets and billing terms, while validating and processing high volumes of consultant invoices to ensure accurate cost recording. Maintain organized finance project files and audit teammate work to drive continuous improvement in processes. Assist with timesheet collection and participate in special projects as they arise. This role is available in Columbus, OH or Seattle, WA, with an expectation of 4 days per week in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- A minimum of 3 years of project cost accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions
- Solid grasp of project financial performance, including revenue and profitability
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Proficiency in Word
- Proficiency in Outlook
- Proficiency in Adobe
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond to clients and team members in a professional and timely manner
