Job Summary
Project Accountant II for an educational facility construction program in Los Angeles County. Responsibilities include reviewing bond program invoices and encumbrances, assisting Finance and Accounting team with analyses, resolving discrepancies, ensuring PMIS Proliance and Costpoint entries are correct, reconciling financial accounts/escrow bank statements, preparing and processing journal entries, developing new reports, and coordinating with vendors, campuses, and other departments to resolve invoice payment issues and ensure expenditure transparency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience, specifically in invoice processing or accounts payable
- Associate's degree or College Certificate
- Ability to work with business enterprise software
- Ability to work with MS Office, Excel, Word
- Ability to perform historical trend analysis
- Ability to create and analyze reports
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
