Job Summary
Manage contracts, amendments, insurance, bonds, and SOV files while conducting timely reviews of requisitions and lien waivers. Set up project financial forecasts to meet internal and client reporting needs, manage monthly forecast meetings, and maintain accurate ETCs for labor and expenses. Ensure timely management of accounts receivable and payables, oversee project financial closeouts, and review Work in Process variances. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships internally and externally, assist with contract abstracts and audits, and respond to audit directives. This role involves day-to-day interface with project management, clients, and subcontractors, with travel to job sites. Based in an office setting with primary duties focused on small to mid-sized jobs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 3-8 years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to learn construction management and payment management software
- Knowledge of the overall project execution process including budgeting, project forecasting, cost control, schedule, anticipated cost, and project profitability
- Knowledge of construction industry insurance products and construction pricing components
- Ability to communicate effectively, listens to understand, and can clearly convey information in all forms based on the audience to ensure shared meaning of the message
